Shopping Spree Picks

Fall is here! We love this time of year and one of our favorite events to participate in started today! Junior League of Raleigh, A Shopping Spree is a fun way to kick off the up and coming holiday season and provides a great opportunity to find unique one of a kind items.

Every year we sponsor the Mother’s Room, giving us an opportunity to get first sights on the fun vendors!  After our fun at the Gala last night, I donned my semi-appropriate Lilly Pulitzer sweater this morning and returned to scout out a few of our favorite vendors.

new and unique

Many of you are familiar with Halfpints Handprints and her darling ceramic work with baby hand prints, but they have made a new leap in designs creating bow holders and holiday card holders.  These fun holders can be customized, but she has ready to go inventory at the Spree as well. Stop by and check them out in booth #218

not your mother’s pearls

Elisabeth Newton is a young local Raleigh designer, who takes the southern tradition of pearls to a whole new level. We are absolutely in love with her mix of hard and soft. Not to mention the precious mother/daughter sets ….we have a sneaking suspicion that these will pop up somewhere familiar soon. But in the meantime, give her a visit at booth #235

classic kids

There are a lot of mainstay children’s clothing vendors at the Spree. But this year we were excited to see Jack & Jill Designs out of Greensboro, N.C.  This classic southern line is chocked full of cuteness. What is especially worth a second glance are their prices. All their items at Spree under $40.00 makes a trip over to booth #313 worth the hustle and bustle.

headbands from the heart

I first was introduced to Headbands of Hope and the brother company Headware of Hope  during Paxton most recent stay at Duke (check out his super cuteness on the headware link above!). I was so pleased to see their smiling faces at the Spree this year. Headbands of Hope makes some wonderful hair accessories that make a big impact.  Every accessory purchased donates a hair accessory to a childhood cancer patient and donates $1 to St. Baldricks. Stop by booth #715 and shop from the heart.
